Born in 1948 in Taiwan, Sun Lin is an extraordinary watercolourist. His works now hang in the National Museum of Taipei and he is the recipient of many awards.

In his words: "The formation of painting and the refinement of its emotion should come as naturally as a human's breath, and not be artificial". In 1997 Sun Lin left his teaching position "saying farewell to the interference outside" and returned to the simple way of life in order to concentrate on his painting.

Mr. Lin lives and works in Richmond, British Columbia.
