Alessandra Bitelli is a senior member and past President of the Federation of Canadian Artists, and a Signature member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour. She has participated in many national and international exhibitions both in North America and Europe, and has been granted numerous awards.

Alessandra paints mainly still lifes and landscapes in water based mediums, using very sophisticated techniques. She is an artist who explores contemporary concepts and visions, while maintaining a profound link to and respect for the painting tradition of the past. The combination and balance of these two aspects are the essence of her art.
